In a few days team members Carlos Perdomo and Tony Martinez will be joining me to represent you in our Impact Evangelistic Crusade in Tacana, San Marcos, Guatemala. Several churches are sponsoring this event and expecting a wonderful harvest of souls!
Located high in the mountains, San Marcos can be quite frigid. I recall a past event when the temperature stayed in the 30'S with no heating in our rustic motel. The only shower was outside in a little "outhouse" style shack. The shower consisted of a simple hose, fed by frigid water from a mountain stream. It took me several days to build up enough courage to go outside to this icy arrangement. Hoping that my heart and body would be up to the challenge, I stepped under the hose and, immediately, felt like a human icicle! It was a lightning, split second shower...the fastest of my life!
Please take these requests to our Lord.
*That we will stay warm!
*That God will protect us from assaults and kidnapping.
Next to Mexico, Guatemala is the worst in Central America.
"That the believers in this multi-church crusade will bring out their unsaved friends so that we
will experience a time of great salvation! We expect thousands in attendance.
*Thank our Lord for 17,633 people who received eternal life during last year's crusades!
Displayed are photos from other times in San Marcos. As in all repeat crusades, my greatest joy and satisfaction will be to meet those who are the fruit of our past history there, now maturing in our Lord and serving Him.
